Nils Hammar’s Bio
Nils Hammar is a Swede living in London, where he’s one of the co-founders of Kindo, a site which puts a new twist on social networking by helping families stay connected and learn about each other by letting them build and grow family trees.
Nils broke into the dot com industry working for Skype, where he took on a variety of roles, including online marketing, business development and product management. From Skype, Nils moved on to a management position in Sweden’s biggest social networking site, Lunar Storm, and served as CEO of Lunar Storm UK.
The idea behind Kindo was born in early 2007, when the Kindo founders returned back to London after spending the holidays with their families. As they shared jokes about their various family members, the concept behind Kindo, connecting families and helping them learn about each other, began to take shape.
