Next week, I’ll be attending an interesting conference which plans to bring together corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists from across Colorado and the nation to assess the growing business opportunities created by climate change. The 2008 Sustainable Opportunities Summit is an event put on by Colorado’s leading sustainable business trade association – CORE (Connected Organizations for a Responsible Economy).
The conference takes place in Denver, from February 27-29. Featured topics include using clean energy, reducing you carbon footprint, the impact of water and global climate solutions. Keynote speakers include Jeff Kiehl, Senior Scientist for the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Sally Wilson, Global Director of Environmental Strategy at CB Richard Ellis Group and Ray Lane, of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
